Rover Tech Automotive Ltd. officially opened March 1st, 2007 but the concept and preparations began over a decade ago. Owner and President Don MacDonald has been involved with Landrovers since the early 1990's. He states:
"Back in 1993, I spent a whole summer with friends on the Gulf Islands. We drove their 1960's Series IIA Landrover everywhere and I just had to have my own."
Starting with a complete restoration on a 1966 Series IIa, Don now has owned several new model Landrovers and became infatuated with the brand, its capabilities and the great people who own them.
After graduating from the BCIT Automotive Service Technician Diploma Program, Don completed his apprenticeship and Landrover Factory Training while employed with a Landrover dealership.
We have recently been appointed an Air Care Repair Center and have employed another Technician.
